Hi, Tiffany! Thanks for cmtienomng on my blog! We use RightStart Math and have been very pleased with it. RS incorporates a lot of games, and you can even just purchase the games (I think), even if you don't use the curriculum. I taught public school, too, so I know what you mean about cringing over the delayed academics because of your background. I agree with Elizabeth who posted above. I don't think you can under-do kindergarten, really, especially if your son is already reading and you've been reading aloud a lot to him. It sounds like you've already got it figured out! I

Alias is useful only if you're dealing with complex queries involving multiple tables; specially if you run the risk of 2 different tables having the same or similar field names.
