Are you looking for some fun 1st grade centers with a nursey rhyme theme? You’ll want to take a look at this resource with 7 ELA Centers and 6 math centers. Students will practice phonics, grammar, and math with the engaging activities.
These centers are great for any season since they are not seasonally themed. They can be used over and over at different times. They are geared towards first grade but may also be used with kindergarten, second grade, and as intervention. Use them in small groups and as independent stations.
The resource uses ten common nursery rhymes: Baa, Baa, Black Sheep, Mary Had a Little Lamb, Hey Diddle, Diddle, Humpty Dumpty Sat on a Wall, The Itsy Bitsy Spider, Polly Put the Kettle On, Hickory, Dickory, Dock, Jack and Jill, Little Miss Muffet, Little Bo-Peep.
There are colored and black line small posters for each of the rhymes.
