Quiz students knowledge on their memorization of the capitals of the 50 states. Usually a capital of a state is well known around the country and students may hear about a certain capital in the news and so they can orient themselves on what place is being spoken of. While we sometimes cannot expect the children to know the exact locations of all the capitals, we can mentally place them in a general location. I hope this helps your kiddos have a better mental picture of the United States of America. I have also included fun facts for each state for the kiddos to know more about this marvelous country.
