Adding and Subtracting Linear Expressions Scavenger Hunt

This products includes a Scavenger Hunt activity on adding and subtracting linear expressions. Some problems require students use the distributive property. An answer key to the scavenger hunt is included.

For the scavenger hunt, there are 20 question cards that just need to be printed and posted throughout the room or in the hallway. A recording sheet is included for students to use as they walk about and solve the expressions. The answer they get to one problem leads them to the next one. For this activity, I usually split the students up into groups of two or three and assign them a place to start. My students look forward to the days where we get to do a scavenger hunt!
