Advent Activity Pack for Early Learners

This is an activity pack for early learners for Advent and it has lots fun things for them to do!! There are 4 activities included (now more in 2015). They are….

• Advent (all about Advent with descriptions and tracing key words and color the pictures)

• The Advent Wreath Cut & Paste

• The Advent Wreath Color-by-Number

• The Advent Wreath (color, cut and paste, and decorate the Advent wreath) [NOT PICTURED]

** UPDATE FOR 2015: I’ve included an Advent Activity Pack Add-On with several new activities and worksheets. These are still geared toward early learners, but some might also be suitable for older kids as well. The new resources are comprised of:

• Acrostic poems for the words Advent, peace, hope, joy, and love (2 versions)

• Posters (4) in color with basic information for each Sunday

• Word search with key words for Advent

• A matching sheet for points about each Sunday of Advent

• Answer keys for the word search and matching sheet

• Facts sheet

• Sequence the Advent wreath (color and bw) with a mat

** UPDATE FOR 2017: There are 2 pages added for Advent (all about Advent with descriptions and tracing key words and color the pictures) for more differentiated writing choices. Now included are cursive tracing [has the color rose instead of pink] and one with blank lines for the students to write in the answers.

** UPDATE FOR 2018: The pack was updated so that all the color purple is violet and pink is rose.
