- Worksheet #1 explains the difference between Adjectives and Adverbs. Students decide whether underlined words in given sentences are adjectives or adverbs;
- Worksheet #2 – Adverbs that tell “when” – Students underline “when” adverbs in sentences and draw arrows to the verbs they modify. They also rewrite simple sentences to add a “when” adverb;
- Worksheet #3 – Adverbs that tell “where” – Students underline “where” adverbs in sentences and draw arrows to the verbs they modify. They also rewrite simple sentences to add a “where” adverb;
- Worksheet #4 – Adverbs that tell “how” – Students underline “how” adverbs in sentences and draw arrows to the verbs they modify. They also rewrite simple sentences to add a “where” adverb.
This worksheet set is designed for Grades 2-3 and uses simple sentences to make the concept easy to understand.
