This free readers’ theater The Ant and the Grasshopper 24 roles script will keep your class together for community enhancing Aesop’s fun, rather than splitting off into small groups. Each student has approximately the same number of words and speaks individually twice. The most exciting feature of the script is the EVERYONE responses, where the whole class responds or performs an action together. Perfect for Drama performances too! If you have a class that dislikes anything they perceive as “babyish”, this amusing script will get a thumbs-up. The 4 page script is followed by written questions, including a creative writing question with coloring borders. A full coloring page completes the fun!
