Traveling on vacation can be a very exciting time for children! Although it is usually a very fun time, it can be one that is very confusing as well. Help prepare your students in the classroom with this fun, ready to go DIGITAL packet that introduces the basic concepts of traveling to an airport.

This activity is specifically formatted to be used with Google Drive and is compatible with Google Classroom. Google Drive is an amazing resource that many educators are now using as an interface to support 1:1 digital instruction in the classroom. I pair it up with Google Classroom (a free website) that allows me to digitally send each student in my class a copy of the worksheets that they later submit to me for grading. Students simply type their responses in the colored boxes. It is an amazing paper-free process and the kids LOVE working on these worksheets on the computer. 

With a focus on visual learning, this scaffolded digital activity walks students step by step through vocabulary they will encounter at an airport. Students are provided real-world images to help bring learning to life. Afterward, they can practice with some worksheets that challenge them to recall the meaning of words in a variety of visually engaging ways!
