All About Me Apple Tree Craft
We use this activity during the very first week of school. Every student makes an About Me Apple Tree to share with the class, so we could learn a little about each other. I make one too.
The apples can be copied onto red, golden, yellow, or green paper to provide variety. I let the kids use markers (even though it is early in the year), so it’s good to have a lot of extra apples for mistakes.
They can write words or draw pictures on each apple.
I provide each student with one “I am” apple for their age and three or four “I like” apples. You can also choose to have students draw themselves on the tree trunk. There is a blank trunk template provided.
This Activity is Part of a Bundle
This cutting, pasting, and writing craftivity is perfect for preK and kindergarten students. It requires good fine motor cutting skills and the ability to assemble.
Enjoy!
