Use this alphabet reader in a reading or writing workshop, for buddy reading, during small group lessons, assign it in Google Classroom, keep a copy in their reading basket, or even send it home to read with adults. 

There is a rhythm to these alphabet books. For example: The H book (which is free HERE) starts with H, H, /h/, /h/, /h/  Hammer, hammer, hammer. The student would read the letter twice, say the sound 3 times, and then the word 3 times. Then the next page includes the word in a sentence. Great practice for letter sounds AND sight word reading!
