This ABC countdown to Summer is a fantastic resource to help your student count down the final days of school. It can be used to create 26 theme days to finish your school year or as short stand-alone activities, games, songs, crafts, virtual visits… to do throughout the day.
Start the day with a new slide and include it with your morning meetings and calendar time, then incorporate the activities, stories, songs and so on throughout the day. You can save the high energy activities such as dancing, workout, yoga and so on for the end of the day. It really is up to you… whatever suits you best.
Print the “countdown booklet” for your students to record their thoughts and ideas, and to practice their writing skills. The color or black & white (ink saving) cover pages will make this booklet a lovely keepsake memory book for your students to take home at the end of the year.
