If you need phonemic awareness activities to practice identifying initial, medial, and final alphabet letters and sounds, these fun phoneme substitution bingo games are perfect. Using the science of reading, these games will help your students practice manipulating phonemes, decoding, and spelling CVC words.

 

Included are three sets of 30 picture cards (a total of 90 cards), along with 5 ways to play! Plus, you can up the excitement by adding “Bam” cards for a twist on traditional bingo. Directions and ideas for differentiating are included.

 

This set of activities uses simple CVC closed syllable words with short vowels for practice deleting and substituting consonant sounds and short vowel sounds.

These work great with Orton-Gillingham and structured literacy-based reading intervention.
