Item description

This is a fun Christmas craft activity where your students make an angel paper bag puppet that has your students’ traced hands as wings. Students practice fine motor skills as they color, trace, cut and glue to make this fun puppet.

This angel puppet is great as a Christian Christmas craft during December, but it is also a fun activity for other times of the year. It would be perfect to go along with a read aloud!

Supplies you will need:

  • Paper puppet pieces (included)
  • Standard size (not large) paper lunch bags. They measure 5.12 in x 3.12 in x 10.62 in and are very inexpensive
  • Blank white copy paper for your students to trace their hands on for wings
  • Coloring supplies, scissors and glue
  • This resource also includes an image of the finished puppet to act as a guide for puppet piece placement

Thank you for your interest in this resource!
