Animal Homes is a fun song and pocket chart activity to use when studying animal habitats. The song is sung to the tune of “On Top of Old Smokey.” Included in the animal habitats are: mountain, sea, desert, farm, tree trunk, grasslands, cave, jungle, forest, Arctic, and underground. I have also include four animal cards for each habitat so that you can have your students match the animals to the habitat where they live.

What you get: Everything you need is here! Just print, cut and put in your pocket chart. The words and pictures are large and colorful. This pocket chart activity can be used during whole class instruction or in small center groups. Kids love to use a pointer and point to the words while their classmates sing the song.
