children who have autism. This space is meant to help children find a place to get away from too much stimulation or release extra energy and find a place to self-regulate. This resource is differentiated to engage your ELL children and those who are at various writing levels .This
guide has everything you need to create, cultivate and nurture a sensory
area for them.

our children will learn how to manage their feelings by
identifying them and specifying the calm down strategies that they will
use to cope with their emotions. They will also create a plan
for their day.
Children will learn to work independently and how to clean
up and care for this space.
Teacher or parent guides are available to help you setup
and maintain this space.
