b/d Letter Reversals PK/1st Vid & W.Sheets “Hi, I’m Bud!”

Item description

Use this no-prep activity and YT video to help your
kiddos learn the difference between their b’s and d’s. b and d
reversals can continue through primary and into the elementary grades. You
can watch this YT video and give your students the corresponding
worksheets several times through the year if need be to finally stop the
reversals. There’s b&w signage for the children to keep,
or take home, and colored signage to hang in your classroom…AND it’s
simple, so they can do it anytime…just their hands in the ‘bed’
formation. They get the added bonus of reading along with the video and practicing with the worksheets.

In
the story via YT, I always show the text on-screen so that emergent
readers and ESL learners can follow along, and I engage listeners with
questions. Since this story is a PK/1st level, it’s slowed
down considerably. While this is a teaching “moment”, these sheets can
be used, and the video watched, several times throughout the year, as
children seem to struggle with b & d reversals often through their
primary years. The goal for this is to provide a fun way for children
to learn without them realizing it’s a lesson. This is an independent
learning activity, so the teacher/parent can simply let the
child/children watch the video, then give them the worksheets to
complete. The worksheets directly correspond to what I teach in the
video.

*The sheets are differentiated by A & B levels.

This set can be spread out for several days and used over and over.
