Item description

Have students draw a colourful map of their neighbourhood to display in the class. This is an ideal back to school homeroom/advisory activity. Students are directed to place their home at the center of the map and draw outwards exaggerating the major landmarks in their neighbourhood. Like ancient mapmakers they are encouraged to include artistic, visually appealing drawings, symbols, and phrases. Students can display their finished products for all to see.
