A fun way to practice phonics skills! This phonics game will help students practice VOWEL TEAMS / DIPHTHONGS (OI, OU, OW, OY, AU, AW). This game is a great addition to literacy and/or word work centers, or stations, and small group instruction. It’s also handy to have ready as a choice for early finishers to play with a buddy!


Players spin a phonics spinner and try to be the first one to find a matching word with the correct vowel team/diphthong on their section of the game board. The first player to get all four of his or her animal game markers on the haystack game board wins!
