This resource features 25 motivational/inspirational quotes and multiple writing prompts that come in 4 variations + DIGITAL = 5 variations! They can be used as positive/growth mindset, reflection, or discussion activities at the beginning, during, or end of class – or “just because” activities. The quotes have been strategically selected to ensure that they are relevant for students and that they can relate and make personal connections to them.

These motivational/inspirational quotes and writing prompts can help promote a positive growth mindset in your classroom.

EACH of the Motivational Quotes include up to three questions:

What is your reaction to this quote?

What is your interpretation of this quote? Do you agree or disagree with it, and why?

UNEDITABLE VERSION FOLDER (BEST VERSION): The items in this folder contain highly UNIQUE copyrighted fonts, background paper, borders, and graphics that you cannot modify or copy. All items in this folder are also included in GOOGLE SLIDES! There are 4 Google Slide links in total. Every item in this folder includes a digital version.

EDITABLE VERSION FOLDER: ALL writing sections (directions, quotes, questions, and title) CAN be modified. You can also modify or replace the background images in the “Quotes only” file. You CAN modify questions or add or change quotes. Each slide in this file includes a unique background paper with the quote, author’s name, and a list of three questions. Students do not type their responses in these slides. Each slide in this file includes a unique slide borders and clipart with the quote, author’s name, and three questions WITH SPACES for students to type in their response. Because you can’t edit the PowerPoint slides, I included two without a quote or question, so YOU CAN ADD YOUR OWN and duplicate the slides as many times as you please with different quotes and questions!
