This growing Biology CER bundle contains everything you need to give your students a great start and continued practice in writing CERs for biology topics.

The Introduction to CER has a Powerpoint with interactive notes, walking your students through each step.

Each CER has two versions for easy differentiation. One contains writing prompts and the other version does not, making it easy to differentiate for struggling students, even within a single class.

There are multiple evidence sources within each product. Informational text, graphs, data tables and diagrams are all used, helping your students to gain confidence using different types of evidence.

There is also a grading rubric if you would like to assess your students’ writing.

These are great for reinforcement, review, a quick quiz, formative assessment, or group work. I’ve also used these as part of a station activity.
