Ways to Use This Resource:

• Whole Group: Display for the whole class using a projector, Smart TV, Interactive Board, etc.
• Center: Open on individual laptops, iPad, or other devices that can run PowerPoint to use as a center activity (*You will need to know how to load PowerPoints onto a device and your students will need to know how to start the PowerPoint.)

How to Start Using This Resource:

• No-Prep Practice: Display the PowerPoint and have students record answers on dry erase boards, in notebooks, etc.
• Low-Prep Practice: Print the answer sheets in this packet for your students to write on.
  *Tip: You could place printed answer sheets in dry erase pockets to re-use if you don’t need/want a paper turned in from your students.

PowerPoint Options:

• Automatic: Start Slideshow. The entire slideshow will play on its own until the end. Nothing for you to do other than help or monitor students. It is approximately 1 1 minutes long in total.
  * Slides are timed. Time is given for students to guess and write the word and for them to make corrections if needed.
• Manual: Start the Slide Show. The first slide animations will begin. After the picture is fully revealed, you will have to click to advance the slide. After checking, you will have to advance the slide by clicking.

Options for After the Presentation:

The PowerPoint presentation is almost 1 1 minutes long. If using this as a center, your students may finish before your rotation is up. If this is the case, I have included an optional writing page you can copy onto the back of the answer sheet. Students can then choose a short a word and illustrate it and write a sentence.

Please Note: This is a zipped resource. The files must be unzipped to use them. These slide shows are created in Microsoft PowerPoint. While you *can* open PowerPoint files in Google Slides, the timing, transitions, and animations will not functions as designed.
