What is a Tangram?

A tangram is a two dimensional puzzle made up of seven shapes that can be arranged to form many different designs.

What are the seven shapes in a tangram? Each tangram puzzle contains the following:

• 2 large right triangles
• 1 medium-sized right triangle
• 2 small right triangles
• 1 small square
• 1 parallelogram

Tangrams teach children about spatial relationships. They can help kids learn geometric terms, and strengthen their problem solving abilities.

What’s included?

– 19 slides in total including the cover

– Within this product there are 6 Tangram Puzzles to solve.

– Each puzzle has 3 different slides:

1. This slide is animated to show how each of the tangram shapes fit into a perfect square. The objects then disperse to imitate the positioning on the activity slide.
2. The Activity Slide – Here is where the puzzle is completed. You will see a grey silhouette of the puzzle as a guideline. There are 7 movable object shapes that you can drag and drop to create the tangram picture.
3. This is an animated slide that will reveal the puzzle coming to life and moving around.

Important Notes:

– These activities need to be completed in ‘Edit Mode‘

– Try not to accidentally resize the shapes as there is no way for me to ‘lock’ the size in place. Remember ctrl+z to undo on Windows and cmnd+z to undo on Mac. If using a tablet try zooming in a little to avoid accidental resizing. Select ‘undo’ if required.

– Once all puzzles have been solved switch to presentation mode and watch it back with the animations for fun 🙂

– My preview video has been sped up a little. The animations are around 6 seconds each and are of better quality within the actual product.

– My covers contain a watermark however this will not be in the actual product.
