This is a simple inquiry-based lab that I love to give students as an intro to Energy and Work. Students will figure out for themselves conceptual problems involving Circuits. They will get the basic idea of how Circuits in Series and Circuits in Parallel work. Lastly, the last page of the lab also gives students an opportunity to create their own circuit, which they love, and they get to learn more through creating and playing.

This is an NGSS-aligned lesson. Your students will engage in three-dimensional learning by analyzing and interpreting data, discussing with other students, and forming their own conclusions through trial and error.
