Colors mini-book & more Video & W.Sheets “I Know My Colors”

Item description

Use this no prep coloring activity to let
your kiddos create their very own colors book, along with some fun
worksheets, coloring sheets, and bookmarks. Through a YT video, “I”
teach, YOU give the children the differentiated worksheets that directly
correlate to what I teach.

In the story via YT, I
always show the text on-screen so that emergent readers and ESL
learners can follow along, and I engage listeners with questions.
This PK/K level text is read twice, the first time with me slowly
sounding out words/letters, and the second time slowly, but with no
pauses, so the children can follow along in their minds. I also
encourage the children to read it a third time with the volume turned
down to see if they can begin to read the words by themselves. The
corresponding worksheets include a mini book the children can create,
and it contains the same text I read in the video, so they get their own
personal books to read to family. As with most of my sets (video
& worksheets), these are not complete lessons, but rather teaching
“moments”. The goal is to provide a fun way for children to learn.
This is an independent learning activity, so the teacher/parent can
simply let the child/children watch the video, then give them the
worksheets to complete. That being said, with PK/K age children, some
guidance may be needed. The worksheets directly correspond to what I
teach in the video. This activity can be spread out over several days.
