Are you in the same situation as us!? Our school, like many schools, are switching us from Microsoft Office Software to Google Web-Based Software. As a computer teacher, who used Office Software only, and has her students use office software, this was a big transition. I had to teach myself everything Google and then completely flip my classroom, lessons, assignments, projects, turning in process, etc. to be Google friendly (as I call it). We also follow ISTE and National Business Educations Association standards in this course.  We designed this full-year course to give the students an overview of Computer Applications, including current terminology, introduction to computer hardware, software applications, and tech-creation websites. This course is conducted through lectures, engaging activities, group-paced instruction, hands-on practice, and discussion. Assignments range from a mix of daily assignments, timed keyboarding tests, quizzes, activities, projects graded on effort/attempt as well as projects graded on overall appearance and completion of given requirements.
