Item description

This is a simple, low prep game to practice counting money. It would make a great addition to your math centers during the Christmas season!


To play, students take turns spinning and counting the coins they land on.


Next, the player draws a present card. If he earned enough money spinning to buy the item on the card, he keeps and records the purchase on the recording sheet.


If the item costs too much, the player returns the card to the table and does not buy anything on that turn.


After each student has taken 5 spins, the player who purchased the most items is the winner.


This game requires almost no prep (just print and laminate, if desired). It’s a great way to get students to practice counting mixed sets of coins while having a lot of fun!


Includes quarter, dime, nickel, and penny.
