Get your students reading with this set of CVC Word emergent readers. The simple and predictable sentence structure that includes sight words, CVC words, pictures and tracking dots will help build your student’s fluency and confidence when decoding and reading. Students can practice identifying the beginning sounds/letters, count the number of words in each sentence, highlight sight words, discuss punctuation used and track their reading progress on the recording page provided.
These books are great to start your students with guided reading sessions, to put in student book bins/bags, set out for independent reading times, to use as part of your classroom library, send home for extra reading practice… the possibilities are endless!
