Days of the Week, Size & more Video & W-sheets “The Lunker”

Help children with days of the week, size, and more with this NO PREP teaching activity. I teach through a YT video and you give the child/children the worksheets that directly correlate to what I teach.

Through a YT video/story that I read, I’ll have teaching moments including:

-Author/Illustrator

-Days of the week

-Yesterday, today, tomorrow

-Rhyming words

-Size (big, bigger, biggest)

-Counting

In
the book on YT, I always show the text on-screen so that emergent
readers and ESL learners can follow along, and I engage the listeners
with questions. I provide teaching “moments”, not entire lessons, in an
effort to review skills previously learned or preview skills yet to
come depending on the level/age of the child. The goal is to provide a
fun way for children to learn without them realizing it’s a mini-lesson.
This is an independent learning activity, so the teacher/parent can
simply let the child/children watch the video, then give them the
worksheets to complete. That being said, with this age child, some
guidance will be required with reading the instructions. The worksheets
directly correspond to what I teach in the video.

Sets are differentiated by A and B levels. Mix and match as you choose, or use at different points in the year.

This activity can be spread out over a week, and can be used throughout the year.
