This week we will focus on how we can show the special people in our lives that we care about them. We will also learn how to be a good friend to someone by sharing and helping others.

• Day 3: Let‘s Pretend
• Day 4: Star Day
• Day 5: I Love to Read

Learning to use our imaginations is a great tool to stimulate creativity. This week, the children will practice using their imaginations as they play and interact with each other.

☀ WEEK THREE: CHRISTMAS TIME IS HERE

• Day 1: Gingerbread Delight
• Day 2: Letter L
• Day 3: Celebrations Around the World
• Day 4: Green Day
• Day 5: Santa’s Coming to Town

Many different cultures celebrate a special holiday in December and the children will learn about Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa. We will also enjoy a day with Santa and explore gingerbread.

☀ WEEK FOUR: BLAST OFF TO THE NEW YEAR

• Day 1: Calendar Counting
• Day 2: J, K, L and #6 Review
• Day 3: Father Time
• Day 4: Time Flies
• Day 5: Happy New Year

In this final week of December, we will say goodbye to the current year and welcome the New Year! We will discuss time and calendars and how with each year, we all grow a little older. We will end the month with a New Year’s Party!

DECEMBER CONCEPTS TAUGHT:

• Letters J, K and L.
• Number 6.
• Shape: star.
• Color: green.
• Community Helper is the policeman.
• Our fire drill is scheduled for Week One.
• Our tornado drill is scheduled for Week Four
