Student detectives use the key to figure out the Easter cryptogram activities. They write the code and can practice letter sounds, formation, baseline adherence, and spacing. Includes worksheet with and without code key. You can have students practice identifying letters and eye-tracking to find the correct image to figure out the sentence without the code. WHEN IS A GOOD TIME TO USE THE SECRET CODE WORKSHEETS?

Great for fun activities, early finishers, writing centers, literacy centers, occupational therapy sessions, handwriting and letter formation practice.

Students can use the key to figure out the secret letters, write their name, spelling words and secret words.

They use the code to practice letter formation, baseline adherence and spacing.

Occupational therapy tip: It is important to include handwriting in letter recognition.  The sensory input of letter formation helps develop a motor memory for letter shapes in the brain.
