Solving mazes helps students with problem solving skills and critical thinking. It also teaches them persistency and patience toward obtaining goals. Mazes also help with memory, especially when you have to remember where locations are.
There are three mazes within this video game. Each maze has numbered areas that have to be touched in numerical order. Maze 1 has 3 numbered areas, Maze 2 has 4 numbered areas, and Maze 3 has 5 numbered areas. Each successive maze is larger than the previous.
The students control Slimey, a slime. They control where he goes in the mazes. The numbered areas must be touched in numerical order or Slimey will have to start that particular maze again.
