This is the second of two products that include 3 interactive Fairy Tale / Fable emergent reader books (Goldilocks & the Three Bears, Three Billy Goats Gruff, Red Riding Hood) with visual supports. Designed to help children develop reading comprehension skills and answering wh- questions, these easy readers are perfect for special education and regular classes, students with autism or developmental delays, guided reading, literacy centers, work tasks, speech therapy, and more!

 

Students read the sentences on each page using the simple sight words & picture cues, read the basic comprehension question, choose the appropriate image tile, and place it in the box at the bottom of the page.

These books are ‘Level 3’ books. Level 3 books:

-have 3-4 more complex sentences on each page

-include sight words of varying difficulty

-include some CVC words and easily decodable words (i.e. words that follow simple pattern rules)

-include picture cues

-ask basic re-tell questions

-focus on ‘Who,’ ‘What,’ and ‘Where’ questions
