Fall Harvest Week will keep your students engaged with fun and educational activities all week.  This lesson is packed with fun and educational activities that will help them with reading, math, and science skills. With engaging activities covering 5-days of lessons and activities, your students will have a blast while they’re learning!

DAY 1: Harvest Time is a day where we learn about fall and harvest time. The children will pretend to be farmers harvesting their crops. They will paint a fall scene on a window and will make fall harvest mobiles. Today we will also study outside temperatures and how we measure them. We will learn a fall harvest song and for a snack, we will make a cool “veggie” pizza.

DAY 2: The letter of the week is Letter E. For the letter E, we will be studying eggs. We will make a craft showing “What’s Inside the Egg”. We will also explore real eggs and will have an egg relay race. For a snack, we will make deviled eggs.

DAY 3: Exploring Leaves will be devoted to leaves! We will take a fall walk and gather leaves and look at how things change in the fall. We will sort the leaves and make leaf prints and leaf rubbings. We will learn a new leaf song and finger play and for snacks we will make leaf shaped cookies.

DAY 4: Number 4 Day is filled with activities for counting to 4. There is a ball toss game, easel art by 4, a four of a kind game and a 4 Little Leaves finger play. We will also frost the 4 sections of a graham cracker.

DAY 5: Fall Animals, we will learn about active fall animals, such as squirrels and owls, and what they do. We will complete a squirrel activity sheet and will make our own owls. We will also play an animal track matching game
