What are the questions like?
There are 5 different sections of their correspondence. There are 13 comprehension and vocabulary questions: vrai/faux, multiple choice, fill-in, corresponding images, etc. The last question (#14) is open-ended.

Which level of French?
The entire resource is in the present tense. The level is beginner to intermediate with many cognates (des musiciens, des costumes, des spectateurs) and words students would most likely be familiar with (les fleurs, février, ils portent).

New words that will be seen in the text include: un défilé, des chars, une tête, une marionnette, des gens, lancer, attraper.

You know your students best: some will be able to deduce what the words mean in context and others will need help up front.
