Item description

Beginner French students will practice classroom objects vocabulary with this Google Forms digital activity that is editable and set to grade automatically. This Google Drive activity includes 5 sections, 25 questions total. The first 20 questions are set to grade automatically for you. This digital activity can be used in the classroom or via distance learning.

Students will:

-Look at a classroom. Choose all the objects they see.

-Look at a classroom. Choose objects they don’t see.

-Read a description of a classroom. Choose the classroom that best fits the description.

-Look at a classroom. Decide if the description is VRAI or FAUX.

-Based on the classroom image, write an object not listed.

-Based on the classroom image, write a description with complete sentences. (This section needs to be manually graded). Upon submission, students will see an example description for each of these questions.

*Each question is shown as an image to prevent students from using the automatic translator.*

Which vocabulary words can I expect?

You could ask students to complete this individually for practice or self-assessment. Then, it could be beneficial to go back through the form and discuss the answers as a class. When students can explain their answers, they move from knowledge of the text to analyzing and synthesizing the text. Growth and learning!!

How this works:

This is an editable activity designed in Google Forms. You can add questions of your own to the activity or delete any questions you do not want to use. You can also change the answer type if desired (short answer, multiple-choice, etc.) or switch the order of the questions.

After you download the activity, you will receive a PDF with instructions on how to download this file to your Google Drive and how to share with students. You and your students must have a free Google account in order to access the activity.

This activity can be shared with students through email, Google Classroom, Moodle, etc. Although this activity can be printed from Google Drive, a printed copy of this activity is not included in the download. The download is a PDF instruction sheet with a link to the digital activity.
