Learning the FIRST 100 FRY SIGHT words are recommended for Kindergarten to Grade 1 Level.
This packet includes 100 clip cards using the first hundred Fry Sight Words. Students will read the sight word at the top and then match the sight word by clipping the correct sight word at the bottom using a clothespin. You can also put a sticker on the back of each card opposite the correct answer to make self-correcting cards that students may do independently! This activity is Common Core aligned!
Laminate and print the cards on sturdy cardstock for extra durability to make them reusable. The cards can be stored in a baggie or hole-punch a corner of each card and put them all on a ring.
This download includes a color version and a black and white version! The color version is color-coded with sight words numbered 1-25 printing in yellow, 26-50 printing in green, 51-75 printing in blue, and 76-100 printing in pink.
The small flashcards print with cut lines to make it easier to cut them apart after laminating.
I have included a word list reference sheet showing the words in order of frequency from 1 to 100. The color version of this list is color-coded to match the colors of the cards.
Clip Cards print 3 per page and Flashcards print 12 per page. After laminating the cards can be easily cut apart. They were designed with an easy-to-read font and a simple border to minimize distractions.
