This product is intended for use with adults, high school to middle school aged kids and younger kids with parental assistance. It would be appropriate for personal use, as a homeschool gardening project or in the classroom if a school yard garden is encouraged.

This product has 74 pages designed to manage a garden from the planning stage in February to the clean-up stage and preparing for overwintering in November. Guides are included that explain the benefits of organic family gardening, why pollinators are essential and how to attract them. A companion plant guide will help you grow plants together that complement each other’s growth which will help you get better results. If you are short on space, a container gardening guide is also included so you can grow some amazing flowers and vegetables on a deck, balcony, classroom or in a small yard. There is a place to record gardening tools and keep track of costs. A place to record seasonal tasks, plant profiles are included as well as a place to draw a visual design of your garden. Monthly pages including goals, tasks and a garden tracker for each month to keep track of those daily tasks required in gardening. Each month also has a journaling page to write down thoughts you’ve had that month about your garden. Kids have a spot to draw pictures of their garden each season or take pictures and add them to the journal. Many pages have doodles for those who like to ‘doodle’ on their planners.
