Your students will love this engaging beach field trip themed digital escape room. They will be practicing their knowledge of addition and subtraction to 20 while becoming fluent in their addition and subtraction to 10. This no prep activity can be done as a whole class, or independently if your students are able to read independently. Your students will be solving addition and subtraction questions to find the keys.

The game asks the questions and gives three possible answers. If your students answer it correctly they move to the next question. If they answer it incorrectly they have the chance to try it again.

Your students will practice:

  • Addition to 20 (3 questions)
  • Subtraction from 20 (2 questions)
  • True/false addition to 10 (5 questions)
  • Make the equation equal addition to 20 ( 3 questions)
  • Make the equation equal subtraction from 20 (3 questions)

Included in this resource is:

  • Powerpoint of the digital escape room. Just hit present and click through the game.
  • Google slides link of the same digital escape room. It will prompt you to make your own copy.
  • Certificates of completion for your students. They come in half a page, and a full page with room for their names. The certificates are available in colour and black and white.
