Grade 7 Science: Interactions Within Ecosystems

This resource is based on the outcomes for Saskatchewan Grade 7 Science: Interactions Within Ecosystems, but it does also meet the needs of the NGSS curirculum. It was written for teachers to use to supplement the textbook or to use if they do not have a textbook available to them. Possible lessons are included as well as worksheets and links to Internet support.

There are four units included:

1. Indigenous Peoples Relationship With the Land

2. Living Organisms Within Ecosystems

3. Energy Flow and Cycling Matter Through Ecosystems

4. Ecological Succession

The final unit involves the students taking on a project with an ecosystem in their local area.
