Who is the Oceanid of Greek Mythology who becomes Zeus’s first consort? When the Olympian Zeus discovers that according to a prophecy he’s set to succumb to the same fate as his father Cronus, and his grandfather Uranus, he eats his pregnant lover, Metis. However, it is their daughter that reemerges unharmed in the end.
