Groundhog shapes for preschool is a fun way to learn and practice shapes! Hide the groundhog shape cards in a sensory bin, around the learning area, or lay them out and flip them over as a matching game.

Some fun and creative ways to use the recording mats:
- Cover with the same shape. (magnet, stickers, foam, etc.)
- Cover with a pom-pom.
- Make the shape with play dough or other materials.
Directions:
- Choose a Shape Hunt mat.
- Print shape cards cut them out, and laminate them.
- Set up and have fun while learning shapes!
- Cut out and color the groundhogs in shapes.
*GAME PLAY OPTION: Match the shape cards with the groundhog shape cards in a game of memory.
These are perfect for centers, student teachers, parent helpers, as morning work, sensory tables, circle-time, small group, 1-on-1 review, homeschool, preschool, or for a substitute.
