Item description
A Halloween science activity where students make a spinning disc called a thaumatrope that has an image on each side. For example, one side has a Moon and the other has a witch. When spun quickly the images will appear to merge into one picture. Simple Halloween STEM and what fun! Two different methods to make the disc are described. One method uses a pencil to spin the discs and is appropriate for primary students while the other method uses string to spin the disc. Try both methods!
Seven different Halloween templates are provided. A blank template is also provided for those that want to give their own a try!
