Item description

A perfect blend of Halloween and Science! What fun for students as they construct “Ghost Rider” balloon-rockets that are sent down a string track. Result tables are provided for students to measure distance and/or time that the rockets travel. There is also a table included where the air volume in the balloon is changed and measured using the circumference of the balloon.

This activity not only addresses the force that causes the balloon to move (thrust), but also the forces that cause the balloon to stop (friction). Graphic notes are provided which focus on the forces of thrust and friction.

There are two different Ghost templates provided as well as two Flying Witch templates to give you flexibility with choosing the theme. 3,2,1, blastoff!
