Allow me to teach your students about Helen Keller while you (do
something else, like work with another student, grade papers, etc…). They
watch my YouTube video where I teach the lesson through a book/video I
created, highlighting Helen Keller’s MANY inspirational achievements. I
ask questions, give food for thought, introduce new vocabulary, and
more! When your class is finished watching the video, give them these
corresponding worksheets that test their comprehension of what we
learned, as well as allow them to gain extra information through the
glossary worksheet provided and the Do You Know sheet. It
doesn’t end there though! When finished, they get to have a little
fun with testing their skills at reading and writing Braille as well as
learning a little sign language. There are two sets of comprehension
worksheets, differentiated by A and B levels, so there’s something for
every student’s academic level. Let me give you a guilt-free break!
