Each puzzle has a context sentence with the homophone removed; students must choose which homophone fits the sentence correctly.

Ex: 

I ate ____ many cookies! (to or too)

 ______ way do I need to turn? (witch or which)

These puzzles allow students to learn the spelling of each homophone as well as the meaning of each word.

The Homophone Dictionary gives the students a simple definition to help them understand the two meanings of the words. This will help them fit each word into its proper context in the puzzles.

The Answer Key allows them to self-correct their Score Sheets or the Score Sheets can be turned in for a quick assessment of student learning!

Simply print, laminate, and let the students use dry erase markers to write the answers on the line, or circle the correct spelling!
