Item description

This bundle includes all of my kindergarten morning work packs 1, 2, 3, and 4.

Each pack includes 9 weeks of morning work activities. They include a page for each day of the week plus a cover for students to color.

Covers the following skills:

SET 1:

• Letters – S, A, T, I, P, N, C, K, E

• Numbers – 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9

• Colors – green, red, orange, blue, pink, brown, black, yellow, gray

SET 2:

• Letters – H, R, M, D, G, O, L, F, B

• Numbers – 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18

• Colors – green, red, orange, blue, pink, brown, black, yellow, gray

• Shapes – square, circle, rectangle, triangle, trapezoid, rhombus, oval, pentagon, hexagon

SET 3:

• Letters – Q, U, J, Z, W, V, Y, X, long vowel sounds

• Numbers – 19, 20, 1-20 review, counting on, counting back, counting by 2

• Sight Words – see, and, the, like, we, is, my, can, go

• Shapes – flat shapes review, cube, sphere, cone, cylinder, pyramid, solid shape review, side, vertices

SET 4:

• Digraphs and Blends – sh, ch, th, wh, st, cr, tr, cl, fl

• Numbers – counting by 10, adding and subtracting within 5, making 10, ordering and comparing numbers, number bonds, 1 more/1 less, place value

• Sight Words – look, are, you, what, have, little, has, with, here

• Science – bigger/smaller, heavy/light, living/non-living, plants, seasons, animals, 5 senses, solid/liquid, properties of objects

These packs build on each other and increase in difficulty. The order of letters as introduced follow a commonly used sequence for teaching letters and sounds. This sequence introduces letters first that are most commonly used in early sight words.

Students will practice the target skills in a variety of ways:

• color the day of the week and the weather

• write the target letter (upper and lower case), blend, or digraph

• color pictures starting with the target letter, blend, or digraph

• identify the target letter from among a group of letters

• use the target letter to complete words (initial, medial, or ending sound)

• write the target number

• count and color objects

• count on a number line

• use a ten frame

• use a hundred chart

• count on, count back, and skip count

• add and subtract

• use the color of the week to color and write

• write name

• read and write the sight word in isolation and in context

• trace the target shape

• identify the target shape within a group of shapes

• classify and compare

Each page could also be used as homework because they are designed to be completed independently.
