A colorful hands-on activity that uses water and markers. Both washable and permanent markers are used to show how some materials will mix with water while some will not.  Directions to run the activity are described and a result table is provided. There are also handwriting worksheets (one with Spanish) and bar graph worksheet included.  A colorful display of student papers can be made afterwards and they look great on a bulletin board!
