Students will demonstrate basic knowledge of letter-sound correspondences by producing the primary sound for each letter.

Students will print upper and lowercase letters.

Students will identify a specific letter among other letters.

Students will identify and understand that a letter is a vowel or consonant.

 

Teaching letter identification is an important part of phonics understanding and reading! As students master letter recognition, celebrate their triumphs with these I know my ABC’s certificates and recording letters!

 

Write their names on each letter as they master it! Once all of the letters have been mastered, reward the student with a cute I know my ABC’s certificate! Each letter learned is a reason to celebrate! The certificates are editable!

 

This resource is also great for substitutes – a sub pack, student teachers, classroom helpers, homeschool, homework, or groups!
