Item description

Do you need an engaging, fun activity to help students who struggle with letter reversals, letter confusion, and visual discrimination? This game can help, plus it strengthens decoding and reading skills. It is so much fun they don’t realize they are learning skills while they play.

It makes a great reading learning center game and tutoring activity. Players must discriminate between the most commonly reversed letters to correctly read the words and eliminate their cards.

The letters practiced include d, b, p, q, g, m, w, n. The words on, no, was, saw, and own are also included. Word cards were created using EZRead Kids Font made for dyslexic readers and students that learn differently.

This game can be used as extra practice for students using any Orton Gillingham-based reading program. Players practice identifying letters and blending sounds to decode words. Cards may also be used as flashcards or as a matching game activity. This game provides differentiated instruction for tutoring sessions, general classroom use, homeschool, and special education.
