Use this fun, short unit to practice or review main idea with your students. Included in the pack are: two weeks of lesson ideas, a strategy for remembering main idea and key details with poster, a graphic organizer to practice the strategy, a fun introductory activity, and reading passages to practice the skills.

-Box of brownie mix

-large mixing bowl

-egg

-beater from a hand mixer or large spoon

-measuring cup

-brown paper bags

-permanent marker

-masking tape
